Duetly does not require an account. A random player id is stored in your browser so you can reconnect to a room. It is not a name, email, or login.
We collect aggregate, privacy-conscious game statistics: things like which opening cell was used in Tic Tac Toe, or how often rock is thrown. We do not store IP addresses in analytics. Connection addresses may exist briefly in memory for rate limiting and are not written to the stats log.
Private room pages are excluded from search indexing. Room codes are random. Treat an invite link like a key: only send it to people you want in the game.
If you run your own copy of this software, you are responsible for the data on your server. The default admin dashboard is protected by a secret you set in the environment.
