How to Win More at Rock Paper Scissors

You will not find a guaranteed win. You can leak less information than the other person. That is the whole edge.
Do these
- Decide your first throw before you look at their face, or before the buttons animate.
- After you lose, do not automatically throw the thing that just beat you.
- After you win, do not automatically repeat.
- In a long match, mix on purpose. Count to yourself if you have to.
- Play best of 5 if the other person is readable; habits need room.
Stop doing these
- Announcing 'I never throw rock' — now you throw rock, or they know you do not.
- Watching their cursor hover on a symbol in a bad UI. (Duetly does not reveal a hover as a choice.)
- Playing best of 1 and calling the result skill.
Then go use it. Play Rock Paper Scissors with a friend in a private room. If they cannot play right now, the computer match will remind you that systems fail on dice.
